The ESF 8 Security Portal is provided as a platform to both access the ESF 8 emergency management applications and to manage your account and contact details.
The suite of applications you see after logging in is dependent upon the access privileges requested by and/or granted by your facility. Every facility has a designated
Facility Point of Contact
that can make changes to your account and/or create new accounts. In many cases, this contact is also the
contact for your facility.
Please make every effort to keep your personal contact information up to date as this is used to notify you of important alerts and news about events and incidents in your area.
If you need help, you can refer to the documentation and step-by-step videos provided in the Help section of every application. You can also click the "Contact Us" button at the top right of every application screen to get further instructions.
If you need help with any of the applications, including EMSTAT or the At Risk Registry, please send an email to
and one of our help staff will contact you as quickly as possible.
You can also contact your DRC. The ESF 8 team works closely with the DRC network about issues concerning the ESF 8 Portal and the associated applications. They are often given advance notice of changes and improvements to the systems, and they can also provide some basic assistance with common user problems. If you need more formal assistance with an issue or problem with the portal, please contact the LERN Communications Center at 1-866-320-8293.
